ABOUT
NyteTraxx is a Minneapolis, MN USA based electronic dance and pop music record label based. The label is created and managed by Minneapolis recording artist and producer Jeremiah Conlon (Nyteowl, Mumra, Dupont Vice, etc) with the goal of developing indie club and electronic pop sounds from around the world.
The first single released on Nyte Traxx (Jan. 2009) was Nyteowl's own Daft Punk inspired track, Bring Back Da Funk. The demo version of this song was discovered by DJ Touche, (aka Fake Blood/The Wiseguys/Black Ghosts, etc) on Myspace, who after hearing this and another remix, coined it the "Nyteowl Sound". The digital only release (IRIS Distribution) had DJ support from Boy 8-Bit, DJ Touche, Max Pask, J F K (MSTRKRFT), and many more.
After an incredible year of releases in 2010 from the "Electric Gigolo" Julian Aznar (Argentina), Nyteowl (Debut LP, Romantic Life), and popular Minneapolis electronic pop due Lookbook's "True to Form Remix EP", 2011 is proving an even more exciting time.
Nyteowl's RnB/Motown inspired NyteTraxx release on January 11, 2011 "Love of Mine" is being re-released by UK electronic music powerhouse Juno Records, via their sexy new imprint, LOVE INTEREST RECORDS. Nyteowl's next release based on the travels of its own T.I.M (Drum/Bass) throughout Tokyo Japan, brings forth a unique travelogue of sound called "TOKYO EP" (June 7, 2011). Finally, look no further than Minneapolis electro/pop tricksters ESTATE to bring the goods on NyteTraxx third release for the year in December 2011.
Nyteowl is now a full band, joined by T.I.M (Color of Brightness) - live shows started in October 2008.
