Nyteowl
Nyteowl is Minneapolis, MN USA artist, producer, and DJ Jeremiah Conlon. The Nyteowl sound is personified by simple, streamlined, catchy pop songs with chords and a crooning vocals.
In 2008, Nyteowl had 2 remixes chosen by Boombass and Zdar of French electronic music pioneers Cassius (EMI/Virgin/Astralwerks) from a pool of 500+ remixes for a project called the Cassius Workshop. Interviews with Nyteowl have appeared in TSUGI Magazine France for Cassius Workshop (January 2008) and in Future Music Magazine (Hot Pick) for his Dupopnt Vice alias.
Nyteowl has completed remixes for the Black Ghost (Simon Lord and Touche), Damien (Record Makers France), Crystal Castles (release TBD), Cassius (Cassius Workshop), and Minneapolis songwriter Jenny Dalton (Glossy Shoebox). Nyteowl created over 150 demo songs in 2006-2008, has DJ support from PIG Radio (Italy), Air France, boy-8 bit, and touche - and also guest DJ mixes on Minneapolis FM radio, 89.3 "the Current". Finally, Nyteowl is a DJ at Minneapolis venues, inclduing First Avenue's dance night, Too Much Love. He recently formed a full band based on his Nyteowl demo and started playing live shows starting in October 2008. Members of the band include Tim Clausen on bass and Synth Bass (T.I.M).
